Tucson's growing population is a constant challenge for the educational system. Tucson has some excellent public schools, although budgets are tight for many of the school districts serving the metro area. An increasing number of charter and private schools are filling the gaps in public education.

A wide variety of child-care options exist here for pre-schoolers. There are also plenty of resources for higher learning and career training for adults.
